Ductility Testing Machine – Digital (Heating Model)

HT-728-DG

Reference Standards: IS 1208, ASTM D113, EN 13398

The Digital Ductility Testing Machine (Heating Model) is designed to determine the ductility of bituminous materials by measuring the distance a standard briquette specimen elongates before rupture under controlled temperature conditions. The specimen is immersed in a water bath where temperature is maintained above ambient using an integrated heating system. The machine pulls the specimen at a constant speed of 50 mm/min until failure, and the elongation is measured digitally.

This model is specifically suitable for laboratories operating in moderate climatic conditions where ambient temperature remains close to the required test temperature (typically 25°C or higher). The heating system ensures accurate temperature control and uniform water bath conditions, making it ideal for routine quality control applications.

Key Features

  • Digital temperature controller with precise heating control
  • Stainless steel water bath with uniform temperature distribution
  • Smooth motorized pulling mechanism
  • Constant speed drive (50 mm/min)
  • Digital display for temperature and elongation
  • Multi-sample testing (typically 3 specimens)

Technical Specifications

  • Pulling speed: 50 mm/min
  • Temperature range: Ambient to 50°C
  • Temperature accuracy: ±0.5°C
  • Specimen capacity: 3 briquettes
    • Display: Digital
    • Power supply: 230V, 50 Hz

Ductility Testing Machine – Digital (Heating & Cooling Model)

HT-728-DG-C

Reference Standards: IS 1208, ASTM D113, EN 13398

The Digital Ductility Testing Machine (Heating & Cooling Model) is an advanced version designed for precise ductility testing across a wide temperature range, including sub-ambient conditions. In addition to the heating system, this model is equipped with a refrigeration unit that enables cooling of the water bath to temperatures as low as 5°C (or lower depending on configuration).

This makes the equipment ideal for high-accuracy laboratories, R&D facilities, and regions with varying climatic conditions where strict temperature control is required. The system ensures stable and uniform temperature throughout the bath, providing highly reliable and repeatable results.

Key Features

  • Integrated heating and refrigeration system
  • Wide temperature control range (heating + cooling)
  • Digital temperature controller with high precision
  • Uniform water circulation system for temperature stability
  • Motorized pulling mechanism with constant speed
  • Digital elongation measurement
  • Heavy-duty insulated bath for thermal efficiency

Technical Specifications

  • Pulling speed: 50 mm/min
  • Temperature range: 5°C to 50°C
  • Temperature accuracy: ±0.2°C
  • Cooling system: Compressor-based refrigeration
  • Specimen capacity: 3 briquettes
  • Display: Digital
  • Power supply: 230V, 50 Hz
